Services
College is a wonderful but also stressful time. Chatham's Counseling Center provides counseling and other wellness-based services for students. We are committed to helping you meet your academic and career goals, to promote your emotional well-being, and to support you if you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, grief, concerns related to identities you hold, and more.
At the Counseling Center, we offer initial concise appointments, individual therapy, support groups, walk-in consultation, and crisis appointments. We also provide outreach programs for classes and campus-based groups. Students who would like to schedule an appointment can call us at 412-365-1282 or can log into MyChatham, go to the Counseling Center, and complete the online forms.
We can support you with bridge sessions while you connect with a provider in the community. Full-time current students may receive ongoing counseling. For part-time students, we are happy to connect you to community resources.
Our Counseling Center is also a training site. We supervise students who are in master’s and doctoral students in mental health professions. Chatham students may meet with a practicum student or a permanent staff member.
